Get Ready for Ghost of Pop 8
December 6, 2012
It’s that time of year again. The ever-popular Ghost of Pop Festival is returning for its eighth year. This concert features some of the finest pop rock acts Richmond has to offer and it’s always a great show. And it’s a benefit for HomeAgain, a local homeless shelter in the city.
This year includes a special reunion show by horn metal outfit Sau as well as Goldrush, Andrew Leahey & The Homestead, The Trillions, My Old Ways and Herro Sugar. DJ OUTSIDER will be spinning the wheels all night. Plus, it’s my birthday weekend and Prabir and Treesa from Goldrush have promised me a special birthday song.
It all takes place at Gallery5 on Saturday, Dec. 8. Listen and download tracks by the artists playing this year’s Ghost Of Pop below.

New Video from the Trillions
November 7, 2012I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for this video to be released. After a barrage of teases, photos and hints, the video for “Crtl-X Crtl-V” is finally here. And it’s bleepin’ awesome. Watch below.

Be On the Lookout for the Devil Whale
September 11, 2012
Go see these guys. I’ve been listening to their music non-stop since learning about the show. Plus, it’s got the Trillions, who are just incredible and Black Brothers, who play some great psychedlic rock.

VCU Welcome Back Party at The National
September 7, 2012While I don’t think we should be celebrating the return of lack of parking spaces and students who can’t cross a street properly, the show will be pretty bad ass.

The Trillions USB Scavenger Hunt
June 5, 2012
Reason #5,321 why The Trillions are AWESOME.
The band is hiding USB drives full of their music and other fun surprises in places around town
Free USB (plus USB benefits) hunt is on, and we’re going to be hiding some of these around RVA for the next few days…. If you find one, please send us a Facebook message ASAP, or post a celebratory pic on our wall if you’re not feeling shy.
Clue 1: There’s only ONE WAY to see this sticker, and it would make a great ADDITION, especially if your name is SCOTT.
Clue 2: (see pic).
Update: Apparently this one has already been found. That was fast. Clues for USB #2 will be posted tomorrow on the band’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
