DC based Afropop band Elikeh mixes Afro-beat with traditional Togolese poly-rhythms to produce captivating tunes that are as listenable as they are danceable. Although based in indigenous traditions, Elikeh’s music has no borders, exploring plnety of global themes.

Elikeh is performing at Balliceaux on May 26.

The band is getting ready to release a new album called “Between Two Worlds” that featured Vieux Farka Toure and John Kalecik of Furthur. They just started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to promote the album.
