Dean Fields just announced that he’s moving to Nashville. While I’m excited to see him grow in his music career, I am bummed that he won’t be around Richmond as often. This is seriously one of the best singer-songwriters this city has had in the past few years. But hopefully this will mean big things for him. Fields decided to move to Nashville after his wife had brain surgery to remove a tumor and decided that now was the time to turn the dreams that we’ve been putting on hold into a reality.

Fields and his band are throwing a couple of Farewell Shows. Mark your calendars for June 29 when Fields will be performing at Capital Ale House with Bryce McCormick.
