Los Angeles soul/pop band Fitz and the Tantrums had something special the moment they formed as a band. So much so that bands like Maroon 5 and Flogging Molly quickly snatched them up to open their shows. The band’s first full-length album, “Pickin’ Up the Pieces,” caught the attention of critics and music lovers with catchy bass lines, danceable hits and the vocal talents of singer Noelle Scaggs, making it soar up the charts last year. They even made my Best Albums of 2010 list. Get ready to dance when Fitz and the Tantrums perform at the National on Saturday, Nov. 5.
