I was not in a music mood yesterday so I ended up doing other things. That was a bad decision because I ended up skipping out on an awesome show at the National by Austin indie rockers Okkervil River, which I heard was an amazing show from Karen, who goes to everything in this city.

I hadn’t heard anything from them or from opening act Wye Oak, but after listening to them, I’m floored by their awesome music and I’m bummed I didn’t make it. I guess I will have to settle for listening to tracks lying on the couch.
