If you’re a fan of ambient pop shorgaze rock, then check out the latest from local Richmond band Those Manic Seas. The band is influenced by artists such as Arcade Fire, MuteMath, Radiohead, Bauhaus and Sigur Rós and traces of all of them are definitely heard in its self-titled debut EP.

The EP, which also holds the title for most favorite album cover (there’s something about it that I really love), is five songs that drag you into a noisy, hazy journey through the depth of rock music. I like what I hear and eager to continue the journey of discovering more form these guys.
