On Saturday, Globehopper Coffee came alive with the sounds of Colloquial Orchestra.

The thing I love about this group is that the members are always in constant rotation and no two shows are ever the same. For this show, the Colloquial Orchestra consisted of Dave Watkins, Joon Kim (Adah), Jameson Price (Lobo Marino), Nathaniel Roseberry (Lobo Marino), Willis Thompson (Thao and the Get Down Stay Down), PJ Sykes (Hoax Hunters) and Matt Klimas (Snowy Owls). The band performed a 30+ minute song that reverberated throughout the small coffee shop and I became absorbed in the wall of sound.
