Brooklyn-based rock trio Breaking Laces planned to play a a number of SXSW showcases earlier this year, but what they didn’t plan on was drummer Seth Masarsky having to play with two broken wrists. Such devotion earned Seth and the band the official True Grit Award from The U.N.C.L.E. SXSW 2011 Spirit Awards.

Breaking Laces’ upcoming release, When You Find Out, is full of smart, witty, humorous and honest songs ranging from pop ditties to distortion-influenced rock with instantly memorable tunes such as “What We Need,” “Hear to Stay” and “Laser Beams.”

Breaking Laces will be playing tonight at The Triple.
