Plenty of whiny emo kids (and maybe just some emo lovers) will descend on the National tomorrow night to see Dashboard Confessional. Good Old War, Cory Branan and John Lefler will also be performing. All good acts worth checking out.
I’m expecting an underage crowd and plenty of girls swooning over Chris Carrabba. The new album Alter the Ending is actually quite good, although Swiss Army Romance (which is in the middle of its 10th anniversary) is still my all time favorite.

I’m excited to relive my angsty youth (although I admittedly got into DC later than most kids–I was probably 19-20 when I was listening to him). I’m much more excited, however, to see Good Old War again. They’re perfect.
