So Long (Not Goodbye) – A Slow Song For Swifts
October 5, 2010Watching hundreds of birds fly across the skies while listening to the music of Jonathan Vassar and the Speckled Bird was a perfect way to spend an early evening.
Organized by Michael Lease, the group’s performance of “A Slow Song for Swifts” was timed to coincide with the twilight roosting of the Chimney Swifts at Grace and Adams streets in downtown Richmond.
Watching the swifts glide to beautiful music was nothing less than stunning.
