Interpol + The Postelles + Twin Tigers = Heaven
July 28, 2010
This show is one you’re going to have to see.
New York indie rockers Interpol are gracing Richmond with their presence on Thursday in support of their upcoming self-titled album. I’ve been eager to hear what the guys have in store since I heard it’s a real return to basics for the band.

Twin Tigers (left) and the Postelles
Opening up the show will be The Postelles, who recently release their infectiously catchy new single “White Night,” and Twin Tigers, who have plenty of dreamy pop noises that I’ve come to love so very much. Get their album “Gray Waves.” It’s definitely worth a listen.
All three acts play at the National on Thursday, Aug. 29. Make sure to go see all of them.
Interpol – Barricade
The Postelles – White Night
Twin Tigers – Everyday

This has me thinking that I really need to move back closer to Richmond, because either the National wasn’t around when I lived there, or I was too young to know about it. RVA is really sucking in the great acts lately!
The National used to be an old theater in the 1920s and was left closed down forever. In 2008, they renovated it and reopened it as a concert venue. Best thing to happen to the music scene here.
