Athens, Georgia’s Nana Grizol are relatively new, but that doesn’t stop them from producing exceptionally well-crafted music.

The band, which includes members of Elf Power, Music Tapes and Neutral Milk Hotel, have put together a wonderful album in the form of their latest release Ruth, a collection of revved up melodic punk, intricate arrangements and ripping guitars.

Nana Grizol will be playing at The Triple on Sunday, May 23 with The Milkstains and KC Quilty before flying over to Barcelona to perform in the Primavera Sound Festival, which will also feature indie bands that range from The XX to Florence and the Machine to Band of Horses.
